I love this truck, it's my favorite vehicle I've ever owned. In 16 years I've driven it over 200,000 miles all over this country and it has been dependable and solid. In all those years, the only work it ever required was the clutch, which was a bit of a problem.

The Ford Ranger was a pickup truck produced by Ford Motor Company from 1983 to 2013. The Ranger was introduced as the replacement for the Ford Courier. There seems to be issues with bad slave cylinders, and I recently had to have it replaced three times in just over a year because they kept putting in bad ones. In addition to the dependability, I truly love the extended cab feature for transporting laundry, groceries, etc., the things you don't want rolling all over the bed. The interior has held up very well all these years, the fabrics are tough (but attractive.) The only other problem I've ever had with it is the sun and wind guards that were attached to the outside of the.

The interior has held up very well all these years, the fabrics are tough (but attractive.) The only other problem I've ever had with it is the sun and wind guards that were attached to the outside of the windshield and side windows - all of which flew off suddenly on different highways around the country. They seemed to have been attached with some sort of sticky tape, which didn't last long. They were handy. Also the gas mileage is terrible, but that seems to be true of any truck.

I would still highly recommend this truck to anybody looking for a small, dependable utility vehicle. I have so many memories of my years with this truck.

We've travelled all over this country, it's been my pony and my camp. From New Mexico to New Hampshire, from Florida to North Dakota, and everywhere in between.

Terrifying midnight drives through the Black Hills, and equally terrifying (but stunning) drives along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Visiting the International Gardens at the border, and driving through Hershey, Pennsylvania, just to smell the chocolate. So many times singing 'Route 66' with the radio as we passed through all the towns in the list. I've camped out in my truck in the forests of the Rocky Mountains and the parking lots of many a 24-hour grocery along the highways.

I've driven through Albuquerque, and Los Angeles, and St. Louis, and Chicago, and Denver, and Memphis, and Boston, and Atlanta, and Dickinson, North Dakota. I've been stuck in the sand, blown tires on cactus, spun out on icy roads. I've visited family, and friends, and made more along the way. I love my Ford Ranger. I bought this truck in 1999 and paid cash.

It is a basic, no nonsense model. It is bright red with manual transmission, manual windows, and a rear view mirror that likes to fall off about once a year. This truck has over 140,000 miles on it and still has its shiny coat and no dents. It has had a minimal amount of mechanical difficulties despite having had to put up with three teenage drivers trying to learn stick shift. The truck has had many successful state inspections and rarely needs anything more than brakes. The only body damage was when a bungie cord accidentally snapped against the rear window, causing it to shatter in many pieces of safety glass.

It is quite stained, but it is totally intact with no holes or rips. There is no rust on the body nor any on the undercarriage. The radio still works, but the air conditioner can be finicky. I would definitely buy another Ranger if Ford ever starts to sell them in the US again.
