IN 99 THEY EVEN KEPT THE BRAKING SYSTEM THE SAME. SOMETIME AROUND 2000, 01 OR SO THE BRAKE SYSTEM CHANGED FOR THE FRONT WHEN YAMAHA WENT TO DISC BRAKES. HOPE THIS HELPS.
