This will cause the engine to be overfilled with oil. You must use the gauge in the oil filler cap/dipstick to verify the correct amount of oil in the engine. The engine is full of oil when the oil is up to the top of the cross-hatched area of the filler cap/dipstick. As always, do not screw in the filler cap/dipstick when checking the oil level.
